News has been going out on our Facebook page (please join), and we have neglected this space so for a quick update :

- Eco schools are promoting Close the Door to schools as a great campaign to join in with which will count towards their Green Flag status and we even have a school running the campaign as a module for the Active Citizenship GCSE for the second year running. Our first primary school is starting too.

- a Motion has been put to the Scottish Parliament last month, so activity there complements that already gained in the London Assembly, Welsh Assembly and UK Parliament.

- Costa Coffee is bringing in the policy right across their estate in March, when they will have their own customised CtD stickers up. Costa's the first of the coffee chains to join nationally - amazing given that customers hate to sit in a draft and have their children run out into the street - so please go there to relax with a hot drink in the cold weather!

-John Lewis is doing great things. They really do act on their words - a brilliant Partnership!

- The National Federation of the WI has thoroughly backed the campaign across the country. The aim is to get involved with hundreds of groups at local level too

- more MP, MSP support is coming in (see the endorsements page)
